Technical Proposal Writer
ASR has immediate multiple opening for Technical Proposal Writers to join ASR’s corporate team experienced professionals who can support the proposal development team with requirement analysis and produces proposal content, technical content for various technical topics for Government customers in response to Government RFP and RFI Solicitations.  Full-time and Part-time positions available with flexible scheduling.  Students, Military Veterans and Retirees welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Development - Develop and lead the writing of proposals that may include content on technical approaches, schedules and timelines, management and staffing, quality control, past experience, and other information.
  • Develops proposal task response content responsive to solicitation requirements.
  • Coordinates through our proposal manager with some direct client interaction.
  • Reads, reviews, and dissects requests for proposals (RFPs) in accordance with Proposal Management processes and procedures
  • Coordinates and drives the RFP and RFI process including proofreading all materials
  • Conduct in-depth research on RFP technical/functional areas
  • Actively look for new RFP opportunities to support business lines
  • Writes clear and persuasive proposal sections for competitive proposals. Assignments may range from producing discrete subsections to gather content to writing and leading entire proposal volumes.
  • Collaborates with other subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information to obtain the necessary information to clearly articulate a winning strategy, compelling solutions, and substantiated themes.
  • Researches and combines information from multiple sources into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar field. (M.S. or Ph.D. Preferred)
  • Federal government and DoD contracting experience preferred.
  • Superior written English ability.
  • Creative and knowledgeable in 1 or more content fields including: Engineering, Technical Support, Integrated Logistics, Construction Management, & Information Technology.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
  • The ability to meet deadlines, a commitment to teamwork, and detailed follow-through.
