ASR International Corp, http://www.asrintl.com, has an immediate opening for an experienced Cost Analyst to support ASR’s Government Proposal team with the development of detailed cost and pricing proposals in response to Department of Defense and other federal agencies requests for bids and proposals. Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop detailed cost and pricing proposals in compliance and response to U.S. Government Request for Proposal (RFP).
Develop cost estimating models and winning pricing strategies for complex projects based on RFP analysis, competitive price-to-win analysis, and analysis of historical cost performance.
Assure complete and comprehensive pricing via thorough review of pricing requirements.
Compile and analyze cost and pricing data to develop compliant cost proposals, including mandatory narrative elements, in response to formal solicitations.
Proposal pricing model development and review.
Proposal compliance review.
Develop cost/ price information for proposals and contracts of all types – Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)
Collaborate across departments to develop pricing strategy for proposals to be presented to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field or 5+ years of federal contracting and pricing experience required.
Experience preparing pricing quotes and proposals.
Knowledge of Government/ DoD contracting and current acquisition trends.
Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite software to author documents and conduct financial analysis.
Excellent analytical skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact within all levels of the corporation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working on multiple Request for Proposals (RFPs) at one time and determining general and specific cost requirements.
Competence in price/cost volumes and pricing reports in accordance with the solicitation instructions, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Supplemental Agency Regulations and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Relevant Federal Acquisition work experience, technical writing and pricing analysis experience is desirable.
Firm understanding of Government contracting, DoD acquisitions and the FAR for the professional services industry.
GSA / DoD pricing experience.
