Senior Financial Analyst III
Location: Naval Base Coronado San Diego
Clearance Required: Secret (or ability to obtain)

Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst III will lead financial analysis functions. The lead financial program analysis will be responsible for the performance of the work and have full authority to act for the contractor and all contract matters relating to the daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, coordinate and analyze accounting and other financial activities of branch, office or department of establishment ensuring the efficient and skilled use of resources.
- Generating regular and ad-hoc financial report utilizing Navy Enterprise Resources Planning (N-ERP), Defense Travel Systems (DTS). Wide area work flow (WAWF), Advana, Jupiter, Microsoft Access Database, Excel, Power BI.
- This role involves providing in-depth variance analysis to identify and explain budget deviations while recommending corrective actions, reviewing contract compliance to minimize financial risks, and providing continuous support to program managers for budget development, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
- Experience encompassing supporting command feeder system and key NAVY ERP modules ensuring thorough financial documentation and audit readiness.
- Develop comprehensive training and strategies to sustain and effective N-ERP training program and creating or updating SOP’s, desk guides, learning aids and other documentation for stake holders and end users.
- Generating reports from multiple financial systems, identifying variances between feeder systems and N-ERP and reporting on abnormal balance resolution efforts.
- Administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, briefing materials, managing action items and meeting minutes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business from an accredited United States College or University
- Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, preferably within the Department of Defense or Navy organizations.
