Technical Communications Specialist

This position will focus on communicating the ASR mission to clients and developing business opportunities. The successful candidate will have exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal. You will provide clients, both new and existing with information regarding ASR's capabilities in a clear, concise manner.
Duties and Responsibilities for this important position include but are not limited to:
- Analyze and assess, and ‘open the door’ to business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Connect/communicate with key stakeholders in oil & gas, aviation, and other industries around the world for available opportunities.
- Actively research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. Speak to/qualify companies to be partners to ensure they align with ASR's strategic goals.
- Review and analyze related RFP’s and SOWs to determine opportunity feasibility.
- Perform market research for opportunities to determine their win threshold.
- Work closely with Corporate Staff to ensure connected strategy execution
- Serve as Point of Contact for some contracts ensuring all requirements are met to terms of the contract
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of Government and Commercial Services Contracting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of QA/QC, including Supplier Quality Inspections, or the ability to learn the concepts with minimal instruction
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks and relationships
- In depth understanding / ability for use of Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint,
- Strong understanding and ability to use multiple communications methods; voice, written, electronic
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts,
- Perform assigned work tasks with a high degree of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and serve in multiple roles with a dedication to overall progress of the company.
