Training Specialist
Location: Various Conus locations as well as travel to OCONUS locations.
Job Description:
- Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements.
- Develop and recommend alternative strategies for consideration.
- Develop training planning data including resource requirements (manpower, personnel, and training).
- Determine training system life-cycle support requirements during the design of training. Identify the relationship between training deficiencies and training system modification requirements.
- Instruct client personnel on procedures, processes, and methods of operating, maintaining, revising, and enhancing training systems.
- Plan for the effective use of time; set priorities; ensure that all instructional materials are completed as scheduled.
- Assist in the evaluation of training support requirements for new system acquisition participating with the Logistics Integrated-Product Team (LIPT), ILS Working Group (ILSWG), Manpower, Personnel,
- Training Working Group (MPTWG), Supply Support Working Group (SSWG), Technical Data Working Group (TDWG), Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Configuration Management Working Groups and others as required.
Qualifications:
US Citizen at time of hire
Will be required to obtain (and successfully maintain) a DOD SECRET Clearance within 30 days of hire.
Eight (8) years of experience in supporting new system acquisition training with at least four (4) years as a Navy subject matter expert (SME) in the area of instructional training and configuration management.
