Senior Analyst - Submarine Continuous Operational & Maintenance Assessment
Scope of Code 275 support to be provided includes Submarine Continuous Operational and Maintenance Assessment (SubCOMA), Post-Deployment Maintainability Assessment (PDMA), Combat Systems Assessment (CSA) and System of Systems Interoperability, Mission Area Assessment (SOSIMAA)/TSRA Assessment, Groton STSC CSA/SOSIMAA Assessment, FTA- Maintenance Support (Ships’ Service Electrical), FTA - Maintenance Support (IC) Electrical, Logistics, and On board TSRA/CSA Logistics.
Location/Place of Performance: MARMC – Naval Station Norfolk – Norfolk, VA 23511 (telework opportunities are a possibility)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Provide Actionable Data to support TYCOM/NAVSEA “Data Driven Decisions” for Maintenance and Modernization of SSN and SSGN Class submarines.
- Continuously review and assess Maintenance Figure of Merit System (MFOM) data, Technical Assistance Visit Reports (TAVRs), Casualty Reports (CASREPs), 2-Kilos, parts usage, and FTA/maintenance data.
- Provide waterfront input and technical support in identification, analysis, root cause determination, failures, and/or trends, and formulation of recommendations and actionable data in support of Fleet, COMSUBLANT/COMSUBPAC, Squadron, Ships Force, RMCs, NAVSEA.
- Perform maintenance investigations/assessments to develop and provide reports/point papers/briefs to include recommendations for problem resolution and/or product improvement in support of Top Management Attention (TMA) and other Fleet/TYCOM activities/meetings.
- Provide Ad Hoc Reports for submarine stakeholders with data-driven conclusions/recommendations to support maintainability, modernization and future development decisions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and clearing necessary background checks/assessments as required. Active high-level Security Clearance will be required, and current Security Clearance is desired.
- Target Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ full-time experience in Submarine Forward Electronic Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle Support. Minimum of 5 years of general experience in Navy Program Acquisition and Lifecycle Support to include the following: Navy Systems Requirements, Standards, and Procedures; Navy Program Management; Navy Configuration Management & Data Management.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of military and civilian personnel.
