Technical Recruiter ASR is seeking to add a Technical Recruiter at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY to support the ASR’s Project Management and Proposal Teams on contracts for Department-of-Defense (DoD) and other federal agency customers. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with the drive to succeed, to support projects critical to national defense. Responsibilities: - Perform full cycle recruiting efforts, which includes sourcing, posting, evaluating resumes, pre-screening applicants, scheduling, interviewing, assessing, evaluating skills, and all other preemployment screenings.
- Support the business needs of multiple projects by developing and executing nationwide hiring strategies associated with recruitment and retention to maintain staffing levels for our Department of Defense and other Federal Agency contracts nationwide.
- Recruit quality active and passive candidates by sourcing and maintaining candidate pipelines.
- Work with project teams to identify talent needs, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Interview applicants to evaluate alignment with position requirements.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with an ALL-IN attitude.
- Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Self-confident in ability to drive conversation & nurture relationships over the phone.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
- Tech-savvy and social media proficiency.
- Government contracting experience. (Preferred).
