Logistics Equipment Management Specialist
ASR International is seeking full-time Warehouse Specialists to support the U.S. Coast Guard Mission Essential Personnel Equipment Product Line. Positions are onsite at USCG Base Alameda in Alameda, California.
The role supports receiving, storage, inventory control, order preparation, and distribution of mission-essential equipment in a government warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming materials against receiving documents and report shortages, discrepancies, or visible damage.
- Route, store, stack, and palletize materials using prescribed storage methods.
- Rearrange stock, perform inventories, and replenish pick locations based on system prompts or requests.
- Inspect stored materials and report deterioration or damage.
- Process supply requests; pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
- Enter required information and complete reports in the inventory management system.
- Operate warehouse equipment, vehicles, hand tools, and computers safely and in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain quality, safety, security, and property-control standards in a federal facility.
- Safeguard sensitive information and CUI and complete required annual DHS/USCG security and privacy training.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Minimum 3 years of related warehouse, inventory, supply, or distribution experience.
- Experience receiving, storing, inventorying, picking, packing, and staging materials.
- Ability to use computer-based inventory systems and complete accurate forms and reports.
- Ability to work onsite at the selected location during the stated schedule and support occasional nonstandard hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to pass a Tier 1/NACI background investigation and obtain/maintain CAC eligibility before beginning performance.
- Ability to protect CUI and complete required DHS/USCG training.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a federal, military, Coast Guard, or other regulated warehouse.
- Experience with personal protective equipment, accountable property, configuration-controlled assets, or CMPRO or a similar lifecycle/inventory system.
- Experience operating common warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Government contracting experience. (Preferred).
