HSE Auditor
The site belongs to an industrial group operating in the field of industrial machinery, packaging equipment and automation solutions. The activities are related to manufacturing/assembly and support operations for packaging machinery and automated industrial systems. There is also a focus on factory automation and material handling systems, including conveyor-based solutions and integrated controls.
The assignment activity concerns the assessment of compliance with applicable local Health, Safety and Environmental legal requirements and the Client’s internal HSE Policy.
The desired HSE Auditor candidate should have experience and qualifications in the following areas:
- 3+ years of experience in EHS, including field inspection and management system auditing.
- Auditing and Inspection: Plan and conduct internal or external HSE audits, including site inspections, to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and compliance gaps.
- Compliance Verification: Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental laws, and company-specific HSE policies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Review safety documents (e.g., permits, training records) and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive actions.
- Risk Management: Lead or support risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP), emergency management requirements, and management of change (MOC) processes.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of hazardous material handling, fall protection, environmental regulations, and fire safety.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to report findings to senior management and proficiency in data management and software tools (MS Office suite proficiency is a must).
- Overarching knowledge/familiarity of safety requirements within the manufacturing/assembly, industrial machinery, and packaging machinery/systems industry.
- Certified lead auditor status for ISO 14001, 45001, or 9001 is desirable but not required.
