Field Specialist - Wellbore Intervention
- Perform thru-tubing and fishing operations using coiled tubing equipment.
- Conduct drill-out operations utilizing stick pipe.
- Operate and maintain downhole tools and surface equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize job performance.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting.
- Working in remote and harsh environments, often with limited access to immediate support.
- Managing unexpected downhole complications, such as tool failures or stuck pipe.
- Maintaining equipment reliability under high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions.
- Balancing tight operational timelines with safety and quality standards.
- Adapting to rapidly changing job scopes and client requirements in the field.
- The role is based in Pleasanton and will move to Minot and Casper as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant oilfield experience; 10 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in thru-tubing and fishing operations.
- Experience with coiled tubing and stick pipe drill-outs.
- Familiarity with packer systems and liner hanger installations is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
- Be fluent in English and eligible to work in the US, holding a US passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship
- Shift schedule (anticipated): 3 weeks on, 1 week off
