Essential Duties
- Review project submittals and RFIs and provide written recommendations for Government action (typically within 5 business days).
- Review project Statements of Work and designs; support SOW package generation.
- Participate in field investigations and prepare recommendation reports on requirements and constructability.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, planners, contracting officers, tenants, USACE, and NAVFAC.
- Collect and analyze facility electrical data using CAD, GIS, and modeling tools.
- Apply electrical codes and DAF standards across programming, design, and construction phases.
Minimum Qualifications (per PWS)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program; AND
- At least 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Professional knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and structural interfaces.
- Ability to conduct site/facility surveys and recommend timely, economical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- DoD installation electrical distribution, interior power, or mission-critical facility experience.
- Experience with UFC, NFPA 70/70E, and design/submittal review on federal projects.
